Our Verification & Data Methodology

This page explains, in plain terms, where the product, price, and offer data on edeale comes from, how we check it, and what we do and do not claim about it.

Where Our Data Comes From

Product listings, prices, specifications, and stock status shown on edeale are pulled from retailer product feeds and affiliate networks, including Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, and merchants connected through the Awin affiliate network. This data refreshes automatically on a scheduled basis rather than being typed in by hand, which is what lets us track a large number of products and offers.

What We Check

Automated feeds are not perfect. Units get mislabeled, fields get mapped incorrectly, and descriptions are sometimes thin. When our editorial team spots a value that looks wrong, physically implausible, or inconsistent with the rest of a listing, we remove or correct it rather than leave a misleading figure on the page. We do not guess at a “corrected” number when we can’t confirm the real one; we would rather show no value than an invented one.

Where a product is out of stock everywhere we track, or where we can’t find an exact match for a specific variant on any retailer, we say so directly on the page instead of substituting a similar but different product.

What We Don’t Claim

edeale is a price comparison and shopping data platform, not a hands-on product testing lab. Where a page describes how a product compares to alternatives or who it might suit, that assessment is based on cross-referencing specifications, pricing, and availability data across retailers, not on physically testing the item ourselves. We won’t claim hands-on testing that didn’t happen, and we won’t publish fabricated reviews, invented ratings, or fake urgency or scarcity messaging.
